My name is Suzette and I’m at SAHM of one son, Giles who has Autism. Like most mothers who have a child with Autism, a great deal of my time, energy and money go towards doing everything I can to help him find his way in a world he doesn’t really understand. I’m lucky though, he’s not really severe and we have a really good chance of integrating him into the world so eventually people won’t notice the differences too much.
I’ve been married for thirteen years to an incredible man, Dale, who supports both myself and our son in every way. He’s my rock and my best friend and the love of my life. He’s the one who goes out every day and drives a city bus so that we can survive and so I can concentrate on Giles.
As for myself, I love writing and eventually hope to finish one of the novels I’ve begun. I’m also addicted to digital scrap booking and that’s the main thing this journal will be used for, displaying my work. I’ve started designing a bit and I may eventually start giving away freebies, but that’s awhile down the road.
